Have you had trouble getting answers from City Hall?
- I will create a navigator position to help individuals, small businesses and nonprofits get what they need from city government. No more giving people the runaround.
- And I’ll designate regular, open office hours—both day and evening—during which anyone will be able to stop in and talk with me without an appointment.

Is City Hall Listening to You?
- All public meetings will be livestreamed and archived on the city’s website. You will be able to access meetings on your computer or phone.
- We will invite public input before decisions are made, and we will communicate with people who are affected. For example, with more input and communication, the Main Street project could have been completed with far less damage to small businesses.
- Areas outside of downtown deserve investment, too. Many of these neighborhoods have been neglected or ignored for far too long.

Back to City Hall.
- Employment and contracting will be based on performance. No city employee will lose their job because of their politics. City employees who do their job will continue to have a job, and they will have opportunities for advancement and better pay based on performance.
- No more pay-to-play contracting. In other words, contracts won’t be based on political donations.
- I will hold public listening sessions, and elected and appointed officials and members of the public will all have access to the same information before decisions are made.
